The intent of the air filter is to filter dust, insect, debris, etc. The amount of air fed to the engine is regulated by the butterfly valve which works in tandem with the fuel throttle control valve. The more you press on the gas pedal the more the butterfly valve opens which in turn feeds Itfelt better at 5/10, but fell apart at 7+/10, so to speak. The EV6 just straight up murders the Alfa, including the QV. Acceleration, lap times, especially ownership experience. Engine sound not so much, lol!
